Summer Leaders in Training (LIT)

AVPRIDE is offering Summer Leaders in Training Program. This program brings with it a new curriculm for the students. Specific focus will be directed at topics that include:

How a student's dress can impact their success
How a student handles themselves during a business meal
Learning how to be confident when speaking in front of others.
Learning what their Leadership Style is and how that impacts everything that they do!
Learning how to be finacially literate and what that means over the course of a lifetime.

Meet our new AVPRIDE Executive Director

Effective April 1, 2011, AVPRIDE has a new Executive Director, Pamela Reid. Mrs. Reid, a former AVPRIDE board member, joins the AVPRIDE staff with a clear understanding of both the challenges that we face -- and a eye on where we desire to go as an organization.

Mrs. Reid, is also very knowledgeable about the needs of the youth of the Fayette County Community, as she has lead her own strategic initiatives to impact the lives of our youth. Please welcome, Mrs. Pamela Reid.
