At the Concord Village Apartments in Peachtree City, AVP sponsors a Family Resource Center
technology for students to work on assignments, projects, research and to provide access to
adults for the purpose of developing resumes and surfing the Internet for employment and/or
educational opportunities.
The center has 8 computers equipped with DSL Internet access, the latest software, FREE e-
mail set-up and 4 printers.
AVP provides an On-duty Academic Support Coordinator who assists users with technical
issues. The Program Coordinator also works with residents, to identify program opportunities that
would help both adults and students in a variety of skill development areas and assists with
planning and scheduling events that serve to encourage community interaction.
The center is opened to middle, high school, and college students, as well as, adults/parents.
The hours of operation are Monday through Friday – 6:30 PM- 8:30 PM and Saturdays (as
dictated by scheduled events).
