Every year the AVP family goes on a
Heritage Trip to explore our roots in nearby
cities.  In the past we've traveled to Savannah,
the Gullah Islands, Montgomery, Birmingham,
Atlanta and more.
This year we wanted to go a step further
and do some community service while we learn
more about our heritage. This year we are
going to New Orleans, which after nearly two
years is still feeling the effects of the damage
from Hurricane Katrina.  We want the AVP
family (especially the youth) to understand the
importance of giving back to the community.
We appreciate any support in achieving this
goal.
